  1. Does anyone know the anumot of idlers needed when rotating a 14m length of pipe?If the pipe is rigid and the drive unit has sufficient capacity is it ok just to have an idler unit at the other end?Or should you use an idler every so many metres? Thanks

Hi. If the vessel is 14 meters in length and doesn't need joining to another vessel then only 1 idler may be required. However depending on the material thickness of the vessel sometimes it can be wise to spread the load with 2 idlers to prevent denting. Usually though we recommend an idler every 8-10 meters, depending upon weight and thickness. Cheers, Joe Hire and Sales.
